What is not alawys a pronoun?

Many words in English function in a number of different roles. Some of the pronouns that have other functions are:
  • the demonstrative pronouns (this, that, these, those) function as adjectives when placed just before a noun.
  • the interrogative/relative pronouns also function as an adjectives when placed just before a noun.
  • some indefinite pronouns (all, another, any, both, each, either, enough, few, fewer, less, little, many, more, most, much, neither, one, other, several, such) function as adjectives when placed just before a noun.
  • some indefinite pronouns (all, any, each, either, enough, less, little, more, most, much, other, something, such) function as adverbs to modify a verb or an adjective.
  • some indefinite pronouns (both, either, neither) function as conjunctions to connect words, phrases, or clauses.
  • the indefinite pronoun less can function as a preposition.
  • some indefinite pronouns (few, many, more, most, nobody, one, other, somebody) function as a nouns.
