that is totally an opinion question, but some of the most recognised rights are the freedom of speech, freedom of press, and the pursuit of happiness.

The most important duty expected of citizens is to vote in local and national elections. The voice of the people is heard through voting.

The right to the privacy of American citizens can be found in the 4th amendment of the constitution. In short, this amendment affords citizens of the unlawful search and seizure.
I believe that the most important power granted to the president is the power of deciding on whether or not to keep the war overseas going. I think that the country doesn't understand that in order to stop the war, it has to go beyond the president.
