negative
offset is the distance between the shot_point and the observing point.
First a special selenium coated, flat metal plate is positively charged. Light stones through a lens then projects an image of the page to be copied onto the charged plate. Whenever the light falls on the selenium plate the plate becomes a conductor and the positive charge is conducted away from the selenium by the metal plate.
This is based upon the number of protons in the atom's [or ion's] nucleus: it's atomic number. Protons possess one positive charge, normally balanced or offset by the negative charge possessed by an electron.
Yes the Pacific Plate, North American Plate, Cocos Plate, Nazca Plate, South American Plate, African Plate, Eurasian Plate, Indian Plate, Australian Plate, and Antarctic Plate are the major tectonic plates.
HPO = High Positive Offset
High Positive Offset +35 to +45

Offset printing or web offset printing is a commonly used printing technique in which the inked image is transferred, offset. This is done from a plate to a rubber blanket, then to the printing surface.

this is how much of the rim sticks past centerline. positive offset will put the rim further under the fenders, and negative offset will make the wheels stick out more.
There are several machines that are used to make money. Some of them are an offset plate, an offset press, a transfer press, an intaglio printer and a jogger.
A sine wave centered at zero will have a positive peak that is the same magnitude as the negative peak. This can be offset so the negative peak magnitude does not match the positive peak magnitude. For example a 1volt peak - neutral sine wave could be DC offset by 1 volt so the positive peak is at 2 volts and the negative peak is at 0.
The stock wheel has a 55 mm positive offset. Positive offset means that the wheel is tucked into the fender well 55mm more than it would be if the bolt flange of the wheel were perfectly centered in the wheel. Negative offset means that the wheel will stick out of the fender well more. So........ If you reduce (55mm-45mm) the positive offset my 10mm, your wheels and tires will stick out of your fenderwells 10mm further than the stock wheel, assuming that the aftermarket wheel is the same width as the stock wheel.
Halm Dry offset presses use a polymner plate (like a letter press) this would transfer the ink to the blanket instead of the subtractive metal plate used on wet ofset press's. The plate cylinders are magnetic to allow the plate to adhere to it. Some people use adhesive backed polymer plates to achieve the same result. All dry offset presses can be converted to wet offset but it is costly. You would need new plate cylinders, complete dampening systems, dampener recirculating tanks, water form arms, new oscillating bushings and new electronic controls for the additional water motors added to the press. These components are available after market for a lower cost.
