If it was a warm day the liquid water in a puddle will and turn into a gas?

Evaporate is the missing word.

Does water from a puddle evaporate or condense?

Puddles evaporate due to the random movement of some of the atoms. This causes some of the atoms to reach their "boiling point". Once this happens the molocules evaporate and then the puddle cools down. Eventually the puddle warms up due to the warmer suroundings. Then the particles warm up so they start to move and then some of them reach teir "boiling point", these molocules then evaporate. This cycle is repeated over and over again until the puddle has completely evaporated.Because of the heat the particles get smaller and smaller until you can't see them

When does condensation happen?

condensation occurs when a gas turns into a liquid

How can ice water and steam be three states of a substance and not different substances?

Well you can prove they are the same substance by experimenting. If you boil liquid water it turns into steam and if you then cool the steam, it turns back into liquid water. If you cool liquid water it will freeze and turn into ice and then if you warm the ice it will melt and tun back into liquid water. Thus the common substance in all three states is the water. ------------------------------------------------------------- In general substance are either solid, liquid or gaseous at normal temperatures and pressures and if you heat the solids they will turn into liquid then gas and if you cool the gases they will tun into liquid and then solids. Solid, liquid and gas are 3 of the possible states of matter (there are other states possible)

When liquid water is warm its density?

Its density decreases.

What is the process when warm water vapor meets cooler air and then it turns into a liquid?

This is called condensation

What happens to the liquid when you leave a solution in a warm place?

it evaporates which means it turns into water vapour

Evaporation happens when liquid water turns into?

Cold air is more dense than warm air

How does a puddle of water disappear?

In simple terms... evaporation even a little heat from the sun is enough to warm the puddle to the point where the water simply evaporates into the atmosphere.

What happens to liquid as they get warm?

The liquid turns into a solid. Er, not generally. As they get hotter, most liquids tend to evaporate!

What happens to liquid water when you add heat?

When you add heat to liquid water it gets warm. If it gets warm enough it will boil and evaporate.

Why is there a lack of liquid water in our solar system?

every other planet in our solar system is ether to far, or to close for liquid water to exist because it ether freezes from being to far and not receiving enough heat from the sun. Or it is to warm on the plant and the water turns into a gas.

How is ice a gas?

Ice turns into water when a room temperature is low (Warm, hot) . The ice melts and the and turns into water (In other words, 'Liquid'.) , and carrying on from that, the water evaporates and turns into 'Gas'.
