One advantage of a phyical model is that you can touch it.
One advantage of physical models is that they provide a tangible representation of an object or system, allowing for hands-on manipulation and observation that can aid in understanding complex concepts or processes.

Very simply put, physical models can provide two sensations, and a computer model only can offer one. In addition, to the visual sensation that both type of models always provide, a physical model can satiate the touching component of being alive. This possible physical gratification is what sets these two types of models apart.
One disadvantage of physical models is their potential lack of scalability and the limited ability to easily make changes or modifications once they are built. Additionally, physical models can be costly and time-consuming to create compared to digital models.
Physical models are models you can touch
One disadvantage of physical models is that they can be time-consuming and resource-intensive to create compared to digital models. Additionally, physical models may be more limited in terms of the level of detail and complexity that can be represented compared to digital models.
Computer models offer advantages such as the ability to simulate complex systems, analyze large datasets quickly, and easily modify parameters to explore different scenarios. They also allow for virtual experimentation without the constraints and costs associated with physical materials. However, physical models provide tangible, hands-on experiences that can enhance understanding and communication, making them valuable for visualizing concepts in a more intuitive way. Additionally, physical models can demonstrate real-world interactions that may be difficult to accurately replicate in a virtual environment.
One statement that is not true about physical models is that they are always exact representations of the real-world system. Physical models are simplifications of real-world systems and may not capture every detail or aspect of the system. Additionally, physical models are subject to limitations in terms of accuracy and applicability.
A physical model is one that physically represents an object.
I'm going to go over plastic or clay models, then human. The advantage of CGI models over physical models is you don't need to set up a lighting rig, spend lots of shots moving the model around, and you make it look exactly how you want it to with out any limits, and you can make it interact in any way you want on any scale you want it to be with less work. With humans models you have a specific range of movement the humans are capable of. With CGI you can stretch reality. CGI human models have greater speed and range of motion(think arial "stunts" like flips and high leaps.)
the three types of models are physical models, idea models and computer models.
