Some people disagree on whether hydrogen is in group 1, but the elements in group 1 are Li (lithium), Na (sodium), K (potassium), Rb (Rubidium), Cs (caesium), and Fr (francium). These are the ones that react violently with water, with Li giving the weakest and Fr the strongest reaction. Hope that helps :)
The elements in group one are the alkali metals.
Hydrogen is period 1 and group1 element. It has only one electron.
Elements are found on periodic table. Compounds are not present on periodic table. The table does not contains mixture.Elements can be found on a periodic table. Compounds can be made by bonding two or more elements. But they are not depicted on the periodic table.
In the modern version of the periodic table, the elements are arranged in increasing order of the atomic number. The chemical properties of an element can be predicted by its group. For example group 1 elements react violently to give away one electron to form +1 ions where group 18 elements are inert in standard temperature and pressure. This periodic table was introduced by Henry Mosley.
Group one of the periodic table is known as the alkali metal group and includes the elements lithium (Li), sodium (Na), potassium (K), rubidium (Rb), cesium (Cs), and francium (Fr).
Bromine
The elements in group one are the alkali metals.
The elements of Group 1 are called the Alkali metals they are: configuration, lithium sodium, potassium, rubidium, cesium, and francium.
a family is a column of elements a period is a row of elements
In the periodic table, group indicates the number of valence electrons in the outermost shell. E.g. Group I- the elements in that group have one valence electron in the outermost shell.
Group 7A elements of the periodic table is also known as halogens having one electron in their valence shells. These elements are : Flourine, Chlorine, Bromine, Iodine and astatine.
Hydrogen is period 1 and group1 element. It has only one electron.
Group 1 elements are alkali metals. Group-18 elements are inert in nature.
Metals are a group of elements in the Periodic Table. Aluminium is one of the elements.
Halogens these are the salt forming elements which are highly reactive
There are 18 groups and 7 periods in the modern periodic table.
They all have one valence electron.
