to hire someone first a vacancy has to arise in a business, then a job description is made up along with the person specification, then the advert placed in newspapers shop windows, appllication forms offered out or cv and covering letters needed, these people (meet the criteia) then get short listed and called back for an interview. the references are checked out, and if everythings good they get hired
