It is probably the case that 26.5 ounces is equal to 1 part. As such, 2 parts would be 53 ounces, 3 parts would be 79.5 ounces and so on. To reduce it, just divide. So one-half part would be 13.25 ounces and one-quarter part would be 6.625 ounces and so on. This kind of measurement is common when the size of the recipe doesn't matter. For instance, when making Italian butter cream it is 1 part egg whites, 2 parts sugar and 3 parts fat (usually butter). This ratio works regardless if you're making 10 cups or 10 gallons of buttercream. Hope that helps.
