What is the difference between percocet and Oxycontin?
percocet is 5mg of oxycodone, Oxycontin is 10 mg and up and
doesn't contain oxycodone, just Oxycontin which is stronger
Percocet is oxycodone & acetaminophen; Oxycontin is actually
the trade marked name of time-released oxycodone. Roxicodone is the
immediate release form of oxycodone. There are many different names
nowadays for hydrocodone (III) and oxycodone (II), with many times
the only differences being 1)milligram amount of the narcotic, and
2)what it is mixed with; acetaminophen, ibuprofen, aspirin,
sometimes different cough syrup ingredient's, such as promethazine,
pseudoephedrine, guaifenesin, etc..., and 3)It has become very
popular when the patent runs out on drugs for the companies to make
an extended-release formula, or instant(faster)release to continue
