I would say.. AdvanceShipping with a slight lead over PearlShipping. But between AdvanceShipping and ContestShipping, ContestShipping is shown to be stronger.

The true statement is- "Ash & Misty" In fact i recall Ash and Misty kissing before (excuse me if I'm wrong) but anyhow Misty and Ash are clearly like each other but they were scared to express their feelings. Which shipping is the best shipping in Pokemon?
Opinion 1 - I'm only speaking of the actual storyline from the Japanese creators. In Japan so far, Pearlshipping is the most popular followed by Advanceshipping and Negaishipping, and Pokeshipping is kinda dead however Pokeshipping is 'alive' in the English version because nearly half of its hints are not canon an example would be the Pokemon movie: Jirachi Wish Maker where Ash supposedly talked about Misty saying how much he missed ''an old friend'' but in Japanese Ash was actually talking about how sleeping a 1000 years for Jirachi should just be a blink of an eye and nothing to do with Misty and another example would be a song that Misty sang about how she liked ash but that is not canon as well as it was not made by the original creators of Pokemon and was made by the English version and thus has no effect on the actual storyline so it can't be used as a Pokeshipping hint but in the future who knows? Things might change. Opinion 2 - 3 or 4 hints for Pokeshipping were put in the dubbed version of Pokémon. Jirachi: Wish Maker was indeed one of them and Misty's Song is never really counted as a hint to PokéShipping fans since it's known that it was a dubbed song. There was another hint where Misty told them that "they would get married someday" and that was dubbed and Pokeshipping fans don't count it as a hint. The jealousy and the blushing between the two were not dub-added. You can watch the Japanese version yourself, it has no difference really besides no one knows about Japan's most popular shipping since there is no concrete proof that PearlShipping is the most popular shipping there.
Who does ash like in Pokemon?
of course may Honestly, it makes more sense with Misty. May and Ash seem more like friends, and Misty has all these songs for Ash, and Ash has shown so much more hints to liking Misty than anyone else. So I personally think it's Misty. Well actually its pretty unknown you see Misty likes Proffesor Oak's assistant and May and Drew had a thing. My personal choice is Dawn because there are a lot of hints that they had feelings for eachother. You never really saw that with May or Misty or Iris. But it could be May or Misty or Dawn. I just hope that Game Freak would make it Dawn there are a lot of Pokeshipping/Pearlshipping/advanceshipping

Dawn is the only girl that high fives with Ash. Pokeshipping aka AAML (the shipping of Ash and Misty) Contestshipping aka DAML (the shipping of May and Drew) Im a different person from the one above XD... Um, there isnt really a 'best' shipping as everyone has their own opinions. But i know that the most popular shipping for Ash in Japan itself is Pearlshipping(Ash and Dawn...) and followed by Advanced shipping(Ash and May) and Negaishipping(Ash and Iris), while Pokeshipping...(Ash and Misty)...is kinda dead in Japan. Pokeshipping is different in the english version because its not canon, lots of Pokeshipping hints have no relation to the actual storyline...(for example, the pokemon movie: jirachi wishmaker, there is a hint that ash talked about Misty saying how he missed "an old friend of his", while in japanese, he is actually talking about how jirachi sleeping for a 1000 years is like just a blink of an eye...). Thats what i know so far, but i wont know of what is yet to happen(i cant predict the future) :P
