You are if you are loading or allowing someone to load something to or from your system. Peer to peer torrents are a great way to share stuff. Make sure it is legal stuff though. They are easy to trace!

- Those who have less than 100% of the content associated with the torrent. They download from seeds and other peers and upload to other peers. (Most bittorrent clients use the term this way).
- All of those active on a torrent, i.e., those who have 100% and those who have less than 100%. (Most torrent search sites use this definition).

∙ 9y agoWhen using the Bittorrent program, a peer is someone who is also downloading the file. Someone who is a peer shares however much of the file he or she has downloaded to others downloading the file.
