Walk one tile down from his cave and search with your magnifying glass; there should be a clue there about footprints. Go back to the village in front of the maze and talk to Penfold in the hut near the General Store. Ask about the small animals, and he'll tell you to make a mold of the footprints you found. Head to the general store and talk to the owner, who should give you plaster and water for $200. Now go all the way BACK to the footprints and dig, which should make the mold. Return to Penfold and he'll explain that it's ferret footprints. Now you have to find the ferrets. (Oh joy). Go to the RED Dragon flame statue thing (like the two that stand at the very entrance of the maze itself) that is at the beginning of his trail, and rake next to it. A ferret should appear. (Walk a few tiles away, then go back to the same spot if you don't see him but the message appears in the right chat box). Ask the ferret (Named BugBug) about the egg and if there is something he'll trade for it. He then asks for a peppermint ball from Mrs.Claus all the way on Christmas Isle, which is connected to Snow Isle. Next, go to the BLUE flame statue and rake to the left of it.
