current is the continuous flow of electricity (or water or air) in one direction. In common speech power can mean the same thing. However, to be more specific power now turns current into something that may be used. Example, the current to the machine gives it the power to work

What is the wattless current?

wattless current means that current by which no power is dissipated (Power=0).

What is the relationship between voltage power and current?

The unit of power is watts, the unit of current is amps, and the unit of voltage it volts. Power = Voltage X Current Voltage = Power / Current Current = Power / Voltage In electricity, power is symbolized with a P, current with an I, and voltage with a V. The real formula looks like: P = V x I V = P / I I = P / V

What IS AC power and DC power?

AC Power is Alternating Current whereas DC Power is Direct Current.

What does the power vs current graph reveal about the relationship between power consumption and current flow in the electrical system?

The power vs current graph shows that power consumption increases as current flow increases in an electrical system. This indicates a direct relationship between power consumption and current flow, where higher current flow results in higher power consumption.

How would you relate power to current?

Power is directly-proportional to the square of the current.

How do i fine an expression for power that involves only current and voltage?

You do not need ohm's law to relate power to current and voltage. Power is current times voltage. If you know current and voltage, you do not need to know resistance.

How the current are related to the power supplied by the source?

Power (watts) is voltage times current.

What is the relationship between power, voltage, and current, and how can it be expressed mathematically using the formula power equals voltage multiplied by current?

The relationship between power, voltage, and current can be expressed mathematically using the formula: Power Voltage x Current. This formula shows that power is directly proportional to both voltage and current. In other words, an increase in either voltage or current will result in an increase in power.

Is current reduces with increase in powerfactor?

If power factor is increased, current will be reduced for a specific real power (kWs) relative to before. Total power is real power plus the vector of reactive power (you have to do polar math). So total current = (current from real power) + (current from reactive power). By changing the power factor, you decrease the second quantity. Go to Wikipedia.com and search for Power Factor if you need a more extensive description.

Do devices operate on power or current?

Electrical devices use power to operate, but power does not exist without current. Alternately, if current is flowing, power is being stored or used by some electrical device.
