When you publish your writing it takes a year to publish it. The reason behind this is when they get the book the need to make the cover, copy the pages, chose the format, get the right pictures, choose the text, and make sure they did everything right. If they mess up they need to do the process all over again. Then when they get it right they copy the book. Into millions of copies. And after a year they put put it in the store. Every time a book is sold 5% of the money goes to the author.

Part of the publishing and presenting stage of the writing process includes finalizing your content, formatting it appropriately for your chosen medium (whether it be a book, article, presentation, etc.), and preparing to share your work with your intended audience. This stage involves putting the finishing touches on your writing and making sure it is polished and ready for distribution.
Traditionally, an author's text is copy-edited, typeset by a typesetter and then printed. 'Proofreading' in this instance means reading the results of the typesetter's work a proof and comparing it to the edited manuscript, ensuring that the editorial marks made by the copy-editor have been followed by the typesetter.
These days, however, proofreading is often performed 'blind' that is, the proof is read on its own merits, without the edited manuscript being available to the proofreader. And the medium on which the text will ultimately be seen may not be paper but a computer screen.
In all these cases, the proofreader reads the proof for consistency in usage and layout, for accuracy in the text and references and for typesetting errors. However, the proofreader is acting only as a quality check, making sure that the copy-editor or typesetter has not missed something. He or she is not responsible for overall consistency and accuracy.
The terms of reference for a proofreader from a client should be agreed by both parties before the work is carried out.
It should be the final stage before making very minor corrections.

writing is the 2nd stage in writing process.you are to make a rough draft.
The second stage of the writing process is drafting. During this stage, you put your ideas into sentences and paragraphs, focusing on getting your thoughts down on paper without worrying too much about grammar or structure. This is where you start to shape your initial ideas into a more coherent piece of writing.
After developing a thesis statement, the next stage of the writing process is outlining the major points that will support and expand on the thesis. This helps organize the structure of the essay or paper and guides the writer in developing coherent arguments.
