I presume you're asking about the psychology of a terrorist. They say that one man's terrorist is another mans freedom fighter. Presumably as they see it, they're doing the right thing and that what they're doing is good either directly or the bad they cause will serve the greater good. Nobody sees themselves as the bad guy.
