Depends on what the pharmacist wants you to do. It can range from submitting patient information to filling prescriptions. Some pharmacist will not allow the technician to fill prescriptions or pull drugs. But some of the duties may include filling out order forms, stocking, prescription deciphering (you need to know the abbreviation), making script labels, changing the desired dosing and usage to fit what you have in stock, charging the patient/billing the insurance, making sure you have given the patient drug information and the correct prescription, good costumer service and if in a hospital setting you may have to dilute and compound solutions make and make ointments and creams.
