A positive response is when a response happens to a stimuli, and this response causes more of the stimuli to happen. A negative response is when a response happens because of a stimuli, and the response stops the continuation of the stimuli.
(Apex) He asks Amelia out.
Sarah hits her toe on a rock. Immediately she moves her leg to pull her foot away.
Biology
In biology, I am Pretty sure CNS stands for the central nervous system. the CNS consists of the brain and the spinal cord. information about what is happening around you goes to spinal cord and from there that data is transmitted to the brain. once the brain receives this information it analyses it and determines an appropriate response and then transmits that response through your spinal chord to the body part needed for the response to happen. for example; if someone throws a ball at your face an immediate response from the brain would be to get out of the way or shut your eyes and/or cover your face. Although also stuff like picking up something and throwing it e.c.t. are examples of this. I hope this helped a bit :)
give me your answer. I need your response

In Biology, Thigmotropism is the turning or bending of a plant or other organism in response to a touch stimulus.

Dose response tests are used, which are a kind of statistical tests.

Osmosis is the movement of water across a selectively permeable membrane in a response to gradients of concentration, pressure, or temperature. I got this from my Biology textbook.
The sympathetic nervous system, more specifically, fight or flight response is mediated through the hypothalamus.
