no. But you can with the left mouse button by highlighting and dragging Right mouse button can be used for copying or cutting
At the bottom right corner of the active cell there is a small black square. By putting the mouse on that and then pressing and holding the right mouse button you drag across a formula.

Click drag means moving your pointer over an icon and then clicking on it. Then, without unclicking, moving the mouse to where you want to drop the icon. And then unclick. Double click means moving you pointer over an icon and quickly push the left mouse click button two times. Right click just means clicking the right mouse click button. This might be referring to right clicking on an icon. In which case you should hover the mouse pointer over the icon and then push the right mouse button.
the basic mouse actions are left click, right click, scroll, drag and that's it maybe theres more but that's all i can think off.
right click and drag your mouse on a PC, I don't know the mac version :/
