Many people will have a first name (a 'Christian name' to followers of the Christian religion), and a Surname (last name, family name). In between the two, there may be none, one, or more middle names. For example: Albert Barry Corbett has Albert as his first name, Barry as his middle name, and Corbett as his surname or family name.
Nicole is Tricia's middle name.
