How does sin harm us?

Sin can harm us in many ways. For starters, sin was offered as a choice in the garden. When we chose sin there, we became a cursed and evil people. God seeks to lovingly punish us for the mistakes that we make, so that would be one effect of sinning. Also, by and large, you may notice that people who run with the wrong crowd will not live a long and prosperous life such that many a ritouse have enjoyed. you may think, sure, but what about those fat cats on wallstreet? hmm, let's take a bunny trail and dig up some dirt. When they began, they knew what they were doing was wrong. They had to look over their shoulders at every turn, and guard where they slept at night. Were they enjoying the prosperous life? Maybe for a while, but after a while, that stress catches up. So now that we have explored that little possibility, we shall move on. Sin can also effect us by placing a barrier between our hearts and God's hands. He wants our all, but what we are telling him when we sin is basically, "I'll do what I want when I want, and you can wait for what's left over". I believe that the latter of the two is the most important one to be aware of.
