Fans speculate he is Lavertus. Lavertus is Laval's uncle and a former hero of Chima. He was banished to the outlands for currently unknown reasons. Since apparently shadow wind lives in the outlands, this can be partially supported. Also, since Lavertus was a great hero in the Lion tribe, this could explain his amazing speedor riding skills.
