Sulfur itself would not be used, though it is sometimes used to treat skin problems such as dermatitis, but there are compounds of sulfur which are used as medications. Silver sulfadiazine is the popular sulfa based burn cream, also known as Silvadene.

Leave the scab on the burned area alone. Keep it clean and dry. It should gently peel off on its own. Then you can use some neosporin or silvadene cream on it for a few days.
