Well first of all to make sure it's really a night terror you're dealing with you should consult your doctor. Ask him or her to refer you to someone who can perform a sleep study on the peron that is having night terrors. A sleep study is done at a clinic where a doctor monitors your brain waves/ and brain activity during you're sleep. afterwords they usually prescribe some sort of medicine. good luck.
