The animals there are known for their un-wealthiness and need for pants, as they do not have pants of their own. The desire for cow printed wallets are very sought after by larger predators such as hawks or vultures while snakes and armadillo's are more fond of any lower bodied clothing, particularly pants and in more rarer occasions, underwear. The pants and underwear are used as a home for the animals and It is highly recommended to avoid touching any clothes you find in the desert, as a trouser snake is likely to be hiding underneath the garments.
