I think it is good because there is an enormous building there that was built in the 17th century. It is also just outside Paris, the capital of France.
It was also a city. It was where Louis XIV moved the court and government to permanently. Versailles was also the unofficial capital city as known by the people for a while. The government was eventually moved back to Paris but Versailles then became the home of the Ministry of Education and is in charge of the education for the western suburbs of France. The Palace of Versailles was also built in Versailles.
It was published by Puffin Books in 1985. Hope this helps. ^^ :p

No, the solar system is not in the centre of the galaxy, it's roughly halfway between the centre and the edge. The Milky Way is the galaxy that contains the Earth. This name derives from its appearance as a dim "milky" glowing band arching across the night sky, in which the naked eye cannot distinguish individual stars. our solar system is in the half way through the milky way.

The most recent measurements put the diameter of Andromeda Galaxy at 141,000 light-years across. The Milky Way is estimated to be 100,000 light-years across.
The Cartwheel Galaxy is a lenticular galaxy about 500 million light years away in the constellation Sculptor. It is about 150,000 light-years across.
