Also, seeing as Windows is the preferred operating system in the world, due to it's wide corporate support software, more third party software is developed for Windows rather than Mac OS X. However, third party software developers have started to include Mac OS X versions of their software as the platform has become more popular. Now, most major third party software has builds for a Mac.
