I believe it is the skin that protects and covers the bones of your body.
ear bones
It is called a cartilage
it the small cells
Soft part is flesh. Hard part is cartilage. Cartilage is what a shark's bones are made out of.
The part of the human body that does not have bones is the cartilage. Cartilage is a flexible connective tissue found in various parts of the body, such as the nose, ears, and joints. It provides support and cushioning between bones, allowing for smooth movement and flexibility.
Bones hold you up. Without them you'd be a floppy jellyfish. Your bones also help to protect the soft parts inside your body.
soft you can bend and hard you can not
Bone Marrow
When babies are born most of their skeleton is still cartilage (A soft boney substance) their body will still be soft and when their bones have developed they will not be soft.
You find them throughout the body in adults but more are soft cartilage in babies.
Any part of the body can be preserved as a fossil. The most common parts of the body to be fossilised are the hard parts such as claws, teeth and bones but it is also possible to fossilise soft tissue as well. One example of Thescelosaurus shows extensive soft tissue fossilisation. It was given the nick name of "Willo" the dinosaur with a heart.
Bone marrow is a soft tissue found in the cavities of bones that produces blood cells in the body.
