The last official eruption of Mt Cotopaxi occurred in 1940. There was some activity in 1975, but not enough to warrant the term "eruption".
Yes. Kilaua's "last eruption" is still going on and has been for 31 years. So in some places it is possible to see active lava flows from this eruption. In some cases it is possible to see areas that have been covered by previous lava flows from this eruption.
Mount Shasta last erupted in 1786. It is very likely to erupt again. After an eruption, many plants and animals will die. However some plants may be back in as little as two years but by ten years after the eruption, there will be many plants and animals back.
Some of the effects of the 79 eruption of Vesuvius were of course, the destruction of the area and the preservation of the bodies. This enabled archaeologists and related scientists to carefully reconstruct daily life in a ancient town. We have gained a wealth of historical data from the eruption area and we are learning more every day as the area that was devastated was not only Pompeii and Herculaneum, but Oplontis, Stabiae and Nuceria as well. In Roman times, some of the effects were the loss of property and lives, the changing of the sea coast, and the loss of good farmland. The eruption wiped out the grapes from which the famous (and expensive) Roman wine called Falerian was made.
Some say that it lasted for about 3 years but the last eruption was several hundred years ago. Hope this helps :-)
It is not currently an active volcano, Mt Fuji's last eruption was some 300 years ago.

The Cascade Mountains are littered with volcanoes including: Mt. Saint Helens (last erupted 1980) Lassen Peak (last erupted 1914-1917) Mount Meager (last eruption about 2350 years ago) Mount Mazama (last eruption about 7700 years ago) Glacier Peak (last eruption around 200-300 years ago) Mt. Baker (last erupted during the mid-1800's) Mt. Rainier (last erupted during the late 1800's) Mt. Cayley (last eruption about 20,000 years ago) Mt. Garibaldi (last eruption about 9300 years ago) Mt. Adams (last active about 1000 years ago) Mt. Hood (last active about 200 years ago) Medicine Lake Volcano (last active about 1000 years ago) Mt. Shasta (last erupted 1786 - has been erupting about every 300 years for the last 4000 years)
The duration of a volcanic eruption can vary widely depending on the volcano and the type of eruption. Eruptions can last for days, weeks, months, or even years in some cases. It is difficult to predict the exact length of an eruption as it depends on various factors such as the magma composition, eruption style, and volcanic activity.
nothing some people died some lived others just carried on with life and till then nothing amazing happened to their lives except they died and went to hell and heaven and thier children carried on their families for them because they are "nice and good people" but messed up tooo lol
The most recent eruption of Mauna Loa was in 1984. There have been several instances of increased seismic activity and ground deformation since then, but no eruptions. Mauna Loa is constantly monitored for any signs of potential eruption.
