Do you mean a liquid that dissolves a solid? If so, it's a solvent. I don't know of a term for a liquid that dissolves in another.
i think the term is miscible. if a liquid dissolves another they are said to be miscible. If two liquids do not mix or dissolve, they are said to be immiscible... eg. oil and water.
Yes, miscible rings a bell. All depends on which the asker is looking for, I suppose.
This solid is called a solute.
If something can dissolve it is soluble if it cannot it is insoluble.
A solid that will dissolve in a liquid is called a SOLUTE.
Solute which is the solid being dissolved Solvent which is the liquid the solid is dissolving into Solution which is the solute and the solvent mixed together Soluble which means that something will dissolve Insoluble which means that something will not dissolve Solubility which is how much something will dissolve and Saturated which is when a solution has dissolved that maximum amount of solute
It's called saturation.
No room temperature liquid can dissolve diamond.
something that can be dissolve in liquid is called soluble. if the solute can dissolve in the solvent, it is called a solution

The liquid becomes SATURATED.
what is it called when something seems to disappear in a solution
Sulphur dissolves in a liquid called carbon disulphide.
solvent
If the slushy had some kind of liquid in them yes some 'stuff' could dissolve in a slushy.Of course, something like metal would not dissolve in liquid, so keep that out of your 'stuff'.
ya mom
