Anything that's harder than your teeth will break them if you bite down hard enough. A small pebble, piece of steel, etc.

That will break the brackets.So try not to eat any hard foods. Try not to eat hard candies that much either. For example, Lolly Pops. You will eventually cave in and go to bite it, but that will just break the brackets, and hurt your teeth. your teeth are easier to decay while in braces. believe me, i don't understand either. Another candy you cant eat is something you wouldn't even think, would damage your braces/teeth. Peanut m&m's. I know, I know, its all too much! Even with Halloween around the corner. the food I miss the most is caramel, sour patch kids, and the Atomic fireball. Hopefully I helped you out!
