What is something you do by instinct?
Breath, blink, prevent yourself from falling (trying to lighten the fall)
An instinct is an urge or idea to do something, and that instinct is a natural part of who you are... not something you have to think about much. Instincts can be inborn, or developed through the way you live. For instance, a man living in the woods might have developed better survival instincts than a tourist if both were attacked in the same woods. A behavior is something you actually do. It has gone…
These two terms are antonyms because an instinct is a quick reaction to something happening that someone has not taught you ie. if a rubber band is shot at your face you close your eyes. a learned behavior on the contrary is something that someone has taught you such as how to drive a car. usually a learned behavior is more gradual whereas an instinct comes naturally.
well, it can be both. as you live out your life you tend to pick up habits. when a bug lands on you, you swat it away; if you did something wrong and your parent/guardian finds out you know how the y will react; etc... But humans are also are born with the instinct to be omnivores and when something dangerous comes along to do something about it. soo, ya, both.
African elephants are'NT instinct because they are living but they r close because people are hunting them for there ivory and tusk and people are taking there habitats and making them into something else but if they do go instinct there will still be some in the zoos so not all African elephants will become instinct
You might have heard of the fight or flight response in animals. Some animals like bears have the fight instinct, when something scares them they will stand and fight whatever it is and only run if they know they can't win. Horses have the flight instinct, if something scares them they will choose to run first and only fight if they have no other option
