They exhale water and breath in air through a blow hole on the top of their head. They communicate through sounds that resemble songs. They can dive great distances by holding their breath.

∙ 9y agoThey are special and unique in many ways. Examples include; Humpbacks emit high frequency "clicks" reaching 30,000 Hz, the flukes (tails) have a distinct pattern on the underside, much like human fingerprints, and they don't eat whilst in breeding grounds.
