That means you slip the next two stitches, individually, knit-wise (insert right needle under stitch and remove) back to the right needle. Then insert the left needle underneath the slipped stitches, wrap yarn around the back of the right needle, then pull the yarn through the slipped stitches from the back, take worked stitches off left needle.

Mercedes-Benz SSK was created in 1928.

The SSK Roadster was manufactured by Mercedes-Benz and designed by Ferdinand Porsche. The SSK stands for Super Sport Kurz, which means Super Sport Short.
A "marker" is a ring that you put on your knitting needle to mark where a pattern begins. When there is a special set of stitches, such as a cable or a popcorn pattern, you put a small marker on the needle to remind yourself where the pattern begins and ends. These markers can be anything that reminds you--a plastic ring, a different color loop of yarn, or thread on your needle. It should be loose enough to simply transfer from one needle to another. Since it is just a "place holder", you don't do anything with it except move it from one needle to another, it is a "slip" from one place to another. So when the pattern says slip marker, it simply means to move the marker from one needle to another and continue knitting.

slip two stitches to the right hand needle, insert the left needle into the back loops of these stitches and then knit. I find this too fidley to do so i use S1 K1 PSSO as it gives the same results: Slip one stitch to the right hand needle, knit the next stitch off of the left hand needle onto the right, pass the slipped stitch over the knitted stitch. It gives exactly the same results but isn't as difficult. James
