Static electricity is
1) an accumulation of electric charge on an insulated body
2) electric discharge resulting from the accumulation of electric charge on an insulated body
Static electricity is the term used for very slow moving or stationary (static) electric charges. The sudden arcing movement of these charges, or sparking, is what ignites (sparks) the gasoline/air mixture that propels our automobiles. The same principle is involved when we walk across a nylon rug and touch a door knob, getting a shock. Lightning gives us the most impressive example of static electrical discharge, and occasionally, shock.
Static electricity is a build up of electric charge on a surface that cannot conduct it.
static electricity-the kind of electricity produced by friction between certain materials.
; Main Entry: : static electricity ; Function: : noun ; Date: : circa 1844 : electricity that consists of isolated motionless charges (as those produced by friction)
Static charge mean "Charges at rest". And at rest, any charge can have its electric field, but its meg.field is always zero at rest.

When a piece of matter has a charge, when some of its protons have been taken away, and another particle gains protons. Also, it can loose electrons, while another particle gains electrons. Basically, all of this creates static elecricity. that is when a piece of matter has a charge. I love science! S.R.
static electricity is static electricity
The build up of a charge on an object can be referred to as a static build up charge.
I would suggest "shocking science" as a title for a project about static electricity.
Another form of static elecricity would be... lightning.

Electricity can be made through a generator. Or you can rub your feet across the carpet and make static electricity. There are many other ways that you can make electricity.
Static elecricity is when two things rub together, and one of the materials picks up negatively charged electrons- making the item that has picked up elecrons negative, and the other one positive. This charge does not move easily, or through wires etc, hence the name static (meaning it does not move)

I think the main advantages of elecricity that it is safe ,cheap and clean .
Speakers generate sound by electricity. have you ever heard that static on your tv headphones? that's the transmitter trying to connect to the tv. The elecricity travels to the speakers and 'tells' them what to do. it then emits your average sound.

yes
There's not one.
