The cost of getting there through spaceships, and the distance.
Well, for us humans, the most important planet is definitely planet Earth. Should there be any living beings on some of the other planets, then they may have a different opinion.

they help us find out about other planets by taking photos and collecting rock samples.
By sending a probe to other planets we get amazing pictures how what they look like close up. Other sensors on the probe can find out about the magnetic field and the surface temperature, and chemicals in the atmosphere, and find out details of the moons and rings of the outer planets.
God made earth for us and he made the other planets for other life forms. But why are many other living beings very much more intelligent than humans?
They are small compared to other planets but big compared to us.
I think there is other life because outside of Earth, there is a series of stars and undiscovered planets and maybe even trillions of them. And out of those trillions of undiscovered planets at least a million of them is bound to have intelligent life living on these planets. The government knows of this, they just won't tell us. I wouldn't be shocked if NASA has contacted other life outside of the Earth, but they just won't tell us or the government won't allow them to.
* The telescope helps us understand space and the stars and other planets.
no, not compared to other planets around us. Think about it.
If we want to learn more about the universe and be less clueless then yes and it can help us understand how our planet is different and we could see if there were any living things there or not. But its not that important to know, don't you think?
It can help us understand exactly why the Earth is fit to support life, while the planets we are capable of seeing are not.
To my knowledge, fossils found here on earth tell us absolutely nothing about movements of the other planets in the past. There is no way that they could.
There are no known planets in any galaxy other than our own. While it is doubtless that other galaxies, including the cigar galaxy, contain planets they are much too far away fur us to detect them.

No, unless you are stopping at the US.
