It is the ability of some activity to continue on for an indefinite period of time. Such as a company like Coca-Cola. They are a sustainable company that has been around for many decades. So their business practices are sustainable.

An unsustainable operation is the oil industry. When the oil runs out under the surface of the planet, their industry is all over.

How is tourism affecting the environment and how can we help?

Countries have to legislate so that new tourist developments satisfy environmental safeguards. All development must be sustainable. * there must be no pollution into waterways and oceans. * garbage and sewage must be collected and recycled as much as possible. * tourist movements into natural areas must be limited so the numbers don't do any damage to the environment. * building must blend into the natural environment. * there must be no illegal deforestation (eg, cutting down rainforests to build a golf course). * new resorts and gardens must not put too great a demand on water and other natural resources. We can help by urging our government to put these laws into place and police them carefully. It can erode away the rocks, spoil the environment, and because there are more people, you can pollute the area. == ==

What is the difference between audit and due diligence?

An audit is a systematic review or inspection of processes, documents, and systems to verify compliance with specific standards or regulations—such as conducting a GMP GAP Analysis Audit to identify gaps in manufacturing practices and ensure adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices. Due diligence, on the other hand, is a comprehensive investigation carried out before making a business decision, such as mergers, acquisitions, or partnerships. It evaluates financial, operational, and regulatory aspects to assess potential risks and opportunities. In short, an audit focuses on compliance and quality, while due diligence focuses on informed decision-making and risk assessment.
