Syrian hamsters are also called golden or teddy bear hamsters. They are the biggest breed of hamster. They come in a variety of different colours and our about double the size of Chinese, Dwarfs, Russians, Roborovsky's. They are the most solitary type of hamster and must live alone, unlike any other type which requires a mate.
yes they live in pares but dont put a syrain with others
I have a great site that i always go on for hamsters they treat there hamsters with respect! And i found out so much stuff that i didnt know about hamsters! They talk about so much different kinds from dwarf hamsters to syrain hamsters!!! www.Animaloversweb.com
oh no, no they can't they are one of the biggest of the hamster breeds.
Ya. It's one of my hamsters favourite treats. Yes definitly!! I have a Syrian hamster and I always give him a piece of banana and he eats it.
syrain hamsters are nice and kind but you have to tame them. but there is no grantee that you wont get bitten when picking them up!
I wouldn't suggest doing that. Syrian hamsters do better by themselves, and don't like other's company. You can try it, and see what happens. But I wouldn't do that.
ya! if u like the name go for it- it sounds pretty original. just remember though the syrain hamster cannot be housed together. but if you are getting dwarf hamsters or robo or something else, sounds good!
Syria is in Asia.

A Syrain Hamster can give almost the same amount a Dwarf Hamster can give to. The number per liter depends on how long the female has been active with the male. For more Information, visit: www.hamsterownerswebs.webs.com
