TARAVANI. In my childhood we used to use it for drinking the liquid during summer. It gives energy to fight with the summer and summer related problems. We can say it is an energy drink made with simple rice porridge. It should be kept in a mud pot to have the long time storage and cool. The porridge be diluted and fermeted for two to three days. And also we can put Dabbakaya leaves for taste and fragrance. The remains of cooked rice can be kept in this Taravani. We can eat them with Avakaya (Mango Pickle) or curd with Mango fruit. This is a common man's energy drink with natural ingredients in Summer. I will post again after improvising it.
