Heat, as in from stove top. This is faster than letting the kernels sit around and wait to pop on their own.

They both pop equally well if instructions are followed.
To my knowings, you cannot pop popcorn in the oven. You can, however, buy the original Jiffy Pop for the stove (the flat tin with the handle in the popcorn isle). You simply heat up your stove top, then shake the popcorn bag over the stove top slowly then faster as the popcorn pops.
1. In the microwave. 2. In a pot on a stove. 3. In a pan over an open fire.
You will need Cola, Cream Soda, and licorice. This requires a stove 2 cook it on.
there are 2 ways to make popcorn. 1. put it in the microwave and pop it. or 2.dump it all out in a pot and cover the pot and the it will pop soon hope i helped you :)
Yes. All popcorn will leave a few old maids.
Microwave would be easier because no oil has to be measured out and no pot gets dirty.
It depends on the application, are you using it on the stove, microwave, or your grill. Whirley-Pop makes what many consider to be the best stove-top popper. I have added a link that also shows the other types of popcorn poppers.
