the assyrian's economy is based mostly on farming . Although, mining and forestry was explored the irrigation systems were a huge part due to the Tigris and Euphrates rivers and Armeniem Mountains. They collect taxes from conquered people and area rulers paid taxes to the king and provided men for the army( military was also a huge part of their history).
