Buddhist's Fantasy is more commonly known as Buddhist's Delight. The most important thing to remember when you see the word Buddhist on any Chinese dish is that Buddhists are vegetarians. Any dish with this in the name is quite unlikely to contain any meat. The recipes vary, but generally it is a mixture of vegetables simmered in soy sauce until they are tender. Carrots, bamboo shoots, cabbage, and snow peas are often seen in this dish. Sometimes bean thread noodles are also added.
