Witnesses are not christened.

Baptism is done at an age when the person understands that they are making a life choice, based on the fact that Jesus was 30 when he was baptised.

We don't christen babies as they are unable to say whether they want to be part of the faith or not.

Baptism takes place at large gatherings called conventions where full immersion takes place in public. Generally Witnesses get baptised in their teens.
