after seatle is rampaged by a sting of mysterious killings, Bella Swan is preparing to becomea vampire alongside her vampire lover, Edward Cullen. she wishes to see her best friend, Jacob Black, a werewolf who can transform on his own cause. Edward does not want Bella to see Jacob anymore, but Bella is eager and starts hanging out with him. Edward thinks that the mystryous killers is a clan of vampires.

When hanging out with Jacob, Jacob admits his love for Bella, and, before she can protest, Jacob kisses Bella. Bella ingures herself by trying to punch him in the jaw. Bella is finnally getting her graduation, and during getting ready she figures out that the mysterious thief of her clothes, and other things with her scent, is thesame vampires on the hunt. soon, with Bella wishing for edward to make love to her before she is a vampire, Edward agains says he will do it, along side Vampire, if she marries him. like last time, she didn't accept, as she doesn't like getting married under the age of thirty, but this time she accepts.

Jacob and the wolf pack join forces, after Victoria who wants to take revenge on Bella and the vampires after killing her mate, James, and when Bella and Edward are talking about there engagement, Jacob overhears, and instead of protecting Bella, decides to fight, which could kill him, but Bella wants him to stay and asks him to kiss her. he does but goes to fight anyway, and Bella realizes she is in love with him too.

Bella decides she loved edward more and then, after a fight, they destroy Victoria, and they go home. Edward says to cut the deal of marriage and to make love, but Bella decides on the marriage. they decide to tell Charlie, and after receiving a wedding invitation, Jacob runs away.
