Homer's epic tale about the Iliad is all about how Paris ( Troy Prince ) abducted Helen, who was actually Menelaus's wife ( King of Sparta .) It is mainly about how The Greeks start a war because they want Helen back, but Paris will not give her back. In the end the Greeks create a wooden horse and hide all their warriors in it. The Trojans think that it is a gift from them and they want to end the war, and they start dancing and singing and celebrating. At night the Greek warriors jump out and burn down Troy.

the Aeneid is a poem by Virgil, which is an invented follow up from the war between the Greeks and The Trojans. it is about a Man called Aeneas who has been chosen to found an new City. The god's use their powers to manipulate and control Aenus. The God Juno does everything in her power as protector of Carthage to distract Aeneus from his mission, as she Knows his city will one day destroy hers.

A key distraction in the poem is when Aeneus is set up to fall in love with Dido; queen of Carthage. juno's intentions here are to marry the couple off so that instead of creating a new city, Aeneas will help run Carthage.this doesn't work because aeneus is reminded of his task therefor leaves Dido, causing her to kill herself.

Aeneus next goes to the underwold to see his father who tells him of the great destiny of all his descendants.
