The Hookshot is an item in The Wind Waker that allows you to latch on to certain things (targets, palm trees) to pull you towards it.
The Hookshot can also latch on to enemies and items. If the enemy or item is light, you will pull it toward you. However, if the enemy is heavy, you will be pulled toward it. With iron boots equipped, all items and enemies will be pulled toward you, if possible.
