ISF, or Isotropic Superfinish, revolutionizes the performance capabilities of high friction, surface-to-surface contact parts. ISF removes the peaks that are inherent to any machined surface and generates a smooth, unifrom surface. Isotropic refers to the non-directional randomized scratch pattern on the low Ra surface that is generated from the process. This unique surface reduces friction and wear, increases durability and improves corrosion resistance of components. The ISF Process is a registered trademark and patented technology of REM Chemicals, Inc. For more information visit http://www.remchem.com/page3-31/WhatisISF
