It is you you.
It is the reflection, of the person looking into it.
It's a virtual reflection of the object which appears as an image as much behind the mirror as the distance of the object in front.
The image formed by a plane mirror is virtual, erect, same size as object, and laterally inverted ( left side appears right and right side appears left ). Also, the virtual image is as far behind the mirror as the object is in front of the mirror.
If you are in front of a flat mirror, your image appears to be twice the distance from you as the mirror. In optics they use ray diagrams to demonstrate this. If you did not know the mirror was there, the image would be 4 meters from you, two meters behind the mirror.
erect image is the copy of the object same as it appears.......for example stand in front of the plane mirror image seen is erect.
This image is always located in front of the lens.
behind the mirror. The object appears to be behind the mirror
mirage mirror it's self!
mirage mirror it's self!
A plane (flat) mirror reflects an image which is the same size and shape, and colour as the object in front of the mirror. A concave mirror can produce a magnified image. If the image is in front of the mirror it is a real image; if behind it is a virtual (non-real) image. A real image can be cast upon a white the best) surface
Beacuse the image is formed behind the mirror after reflection. The image appears to be diverging from the Principal Focus.
A reflected duplication that appears identical but in reverse.
Put a mirror in front of it.
