It's about a girl named Korana who lives with this Indian Tribe on an island. When the Indian Tribe gets attacked they leave the island immediately. When everyone is on the boat, Korana's brother Ramo is left behind. Korana jumps off the boat and lives with her brother on the island. When her brother is attacked by the wild dogs, she is alone. Korana tries to kill the wild dogs, but women in her tribe aren't allowed to make weapons let alone touch them. But she makes weapons anyway. She injures a wild dog, but she can't kill it. She takes it to her shelter and lives with it until some explorers take her to a populated island.
