You know, an easy way to find out is to ask the question in the Enter question or phrase... box above "What happened in kingdom hearts 1?" That's where I found out what happened, and it really goes into detail except for the fighting. It will only tell you Kingdom Hearts 1's storyline, though.
There has been no confirmation on Kingdom Hearts 3. But don't give up hope!
Advance the storyline
Yes, Kingdom Hearts Final Mix is kind of like a second Kingdom Hearts 2, but there are some differences in the storyline.
Kingdom Hearts Chain of Memories was both released, and set before Kingdom Hearts II. To better understand this, think of Kingdom Hearts Chain of Memories as "Kingdom Hearts 1.5", with the storyline being placed directly after Kingdom Hearts, and directly before Kingdom Hearts II.
Continue the storyline and Mickey will give it to you in Hallow Bastion
Keep moving on with the storyline
Kingdom Hearts: Dream Drop Distance is an upcoming game in the Kingdom Hearts series. It is currently in development and will be released for the upcoming Nintendo 3DS system. There is not much information about it yet, but it will supposedly return to the main storyline with Riku and Sora and lead into Kingdom hearts 3.
The computer room in hollow bastion. I think the storyline will eventually bring you there.
I personally like Kingdom Hearts and War Games but mostly ones with a good storyline
I think Kingdom Hearts 2 is better, because you will probably understand what the storyline is, you get forms which allow you to become a bit stronger, enjoy the characters in every world and if you die in any boss battles you may play as Mickey and and choose to hurt the boss or revive Sora!
