What is the Kurdish question?

It is a persistent ethnicity problem in Turkey. The Kurds who live in the southeast part of Turkey in large groups; demand their freedom as an independent state. There are many other vintage points in Kurds to this question too. Some of them asks for a federate state in Turkey and some of them are only interested in receiving their fundamental rights such as being educated in their native language. They also ask to be recognised as a minority and they want their native language, Kurdish, to be recognised as a second official language in Turkey. Their armed group PKK constantly causes problems and deaths in the southeast part of Turkey. There şs a constant fight between Turkish armies and PKK in that region. PKK is recognised as a terror organisation in Turkey although they define themselves as a guerrilla group which has roots in the Marxist ideology who merely ask for rights. There is also a political party which is currently a part of the parliament in Turkey so it would be quiet wrong to say that they are a suppressed group who lack democratic rights completely as PKK puts forward. Turkish state is a republic formed by the Lausenne Treaty in 1923 and in tihs treaty it's clearly stated that Turkey is a unified republic and no kind of minorty lives in its borders. It's stated that every person who lives within the Turkish borders are accepted to the Turkish citizenship and are equal to everybody eho lives according to the Turkish laws. Kurds are as much as protected as the other citizens in Turkey. They are not subjected to any kind of discrimination in Turkey but the region they live has generally poor economic situation so this drives them to rebellion against the state. The current leading party in Turkey started some research and claim to have a plan to solve this question but no specific measure is taken and there some opposition to their policy from the other parties in the parliament so it remains vague if the question can be solved in the near future.
